From the perspective of the public safety field you’re in, aspire to be in, or have researched, consider a conflict that has arisen or could arise related to religious accommodations among employees.
You might consider, for example, organizational requirements related to the performance of certain tasks that an employee has or could suggest conflict with his or her religion. You might also look at scheduling requirements as well uniform and grooming requirements that may be argued conflict with an individual’s religious belief.
Explain how these issues have been resolved and how you believe the Courts would resolve them if they were challenged.
